Sprouts could be the reason for the recent E-coli outbreak that has seen the death of 22 people worldwide.
According to German Agiculture Minister Gert Lindemann the likely source based on preliminary tests which found that bean sprouts and other sprout varieties from an organic farm in the Uelzen area, between the northern cities of Hamburg and Hannover, could be the likely source of the contamination.
