So as many of you may know, just before Easter this year I had a bacterial infection which led to my stomach developing an ulcer. Not too much you might think, although me being me, I just gritted my teeth and put up with the pain. After 3 days of internally bleeding ( I was hoping it would stop) I collapsed just after doing a spin class and on my way to doing a body conditioning class.
5 days later, after emergency surgery and a nice break in the local hospital, I returned hoping to just get back into my sports again. Alas, my haemoglobin levels were not to be back to normal for another 8 months according to the doctor. Lack of exercise, meant that sadly, I developed a fat belly.
I normally hold my BodyFat(BF) at about 10 - 15%, I measured myself about 10 days ago and found I was just over 26%. Well, to cut a long story short, I got up and trained, at probably the lowest level I have ever trained at...but I trained. Up at 4.30am for a slow jog (my first clients are early so I have to get up that early) a few calisthenics throughout the day, watching my diet.
So, the good news is that after 10 days, even though I am not up to optimum health, I managed to get down to about 20%. This is with a heavy work commitment and studying at the moment. I could get faster results, but I am doing it sensibly. The proof of what I have been telling you guys really is in the pudding. Get out there and do it...I know you can do it, because I am doing it.
I am, as always here for advice or to do sessions with you
