I have been skipping now for a few weeks and have got pain in the front of my legs what is it?

Hi, I suspect that what you have is known as shin-splints. The tendons on the front of the shin can take a while to adapt to running, skipping or any other impact exercise. My advice in this case would be to do something different. Something that doesn't involve any jumping. You can try to perform squats or lunges as fast as possible in a set time over a number of sets (try some of the Tabata training we spoke about), you could even try Yoga or Pilates for a bit of an active rest without the heart rate raising (so remember to try to carry on with the swimming and bike riding to compensate). Hope that helps Veronica, keep trainig hard and see you soon...
