Hot and Sweaty

Ok, so now this week seems like the Summer has arrived. Whatever the weather has in store for us though I know you'll be training hard.
I think if you look at one of the first blogs I posted you will see the Shaolin monks training in some pretty poor weather conditions.
How to train when it's hot though?
I will probably deal with this more later in the year, but the most important thing now is to hydrate properly. A small amount of salt or sugar in your drink would be good. This can help to re-balance the electrolytes you lose through sweating. A small amount is really the key though, about 1/4th of a teaspoon is more than enough in a 500ml bottle. Alternatively you could add some juice to your water, making an isotonic drink of your own.
Get in contact with me, or ask me if you need to know a good mix percentage for your own homemade isotonic drinks....
Keep training hard guys, but keep yourself healthy!
