Topic for the week? Getting out more...
Of course the only sort of getting out more I mean is hit the streets, parks or commons.
There really is little excuse at the moment. Those of you that have been going throughout the winter, well done... now its time to lessen the layers, why not try to get a vented rucksack and add a little weight to the runs?
Those of you still to venture outside... maybe pick a nice day to begin with, the air is still quite crisp out there at the moment so it can be a great feeling when you're cooling down from the run.
You don't just have to run though, you can go on slower jogs and intersperse it with pushups, pullups off the odd tree or even sit-ups (look out for the dog-doo first though!). Hill runs (which can be done on the pavement as well!) try a few sets of running up the hill then walking down, follow with walking up and running down.
I have loads more suggestions, so get in contact if you're interested. usual web address.
Keep training hard guys.
