Power, should be a major concideration in your workouts.
Endurance is great, and will probably be discussed later, but for now we are concerned with power.
The more ballistic a movement is, the more power you will be generating in an exercise. By ballistic, we mean speed, but controlled speed. There is normally a distinction as untrained athletes can sometimes mimic a move then injure themselves due to many factors, mostly from lack of control.
At KaiZen, we teach a variety of moves, all designed to increase your power through an exercise, although we want to make sure you build up for correct execution.
A sprint instead of a slight jog, plyometric pushups instead of just normal controlled speed pushups, the list could go on, but this gives an idea of how we incorporate power into your workout.
An increase in power could lead to an increase in muscle size as the muscles will need to store more creatine phosphate(CP) within the muscles to adapt to the demands.
You really don't need a gym to achieve your goals... ask for more information on how to ditch the gymbunny culture and become truly functionally fit.
